It’s my favorite time of the year when it comes to fixing meals because the garden is starting to kick in so more and more goodies become available from the garden.

The rain we’ve been having has been great for the garden so I thought I’d give ya a little update…

Today we’re moving our goats to new pasture! But.. being creatures of habit, will they stay out there?

After a lot of rain our alfalfa grew back and we were able to get it swathed and baled. We didn’t get many bales but the quality was better than we normally get. No matter the amount, hay bales in the barn makes us happy!

It’s been super hot and humid but good thing about that is the cucumbers grow great in those conditions. So now we have enough to ferment!
